The Bottlemart Smiling for Smiddy Challenge inspires everyday people to take to their bike and complete an extraordinary cycle to raise funds in the fight against cancer.
The event enters its fifth year in 2010, and challenges 60 cyclists to a gruelling 1600 kilometre journey over eight days from Brisbane to Townsville.
Since 2006, the ‘Smiddy Challenge' has raised more than $1.1 million for world-class cancer research and health care in memory Adam Smiddy, who passed away to an aggressive cancer, aged only 26.
